Insurance Information
Water’s Edge Therapy Services, LLC. has joined Alma (https://helloalma.com/). They provide billing support for private mental health practices. By paying a yearly fee to Alma, they in turn connect me to insurance companies and do the billing so you can use your insurance benefits and I can be reimbursed.
If you see your insurance company below and want to participate I will need to submit your insurance information to do a benefits check. Note that my price per session will be adjusted to the insurance rate. If you are working on a deductible and would like the session payment to go towards your insurance deductible, there will be an increase in session cost from $60 per hour to $90. The $90 cost will cover the additional administrative time to comply with insurance requirements along with Alma fees. . If you are remaining a cash/HSA with no connection to an insurance company the cost will remain at $60 for the 2023 year.
The following is taken from the Alma site:
Alma partners with select insurance companies to make it easier for providers to go in-network. We refer to this as our “insurance program,” and it allows providers at Alma to see clients using insurance while the Alma team manages all of the paperwork and billing on their behalf.
If you don’t see your insurance listed below and are looking for an in-network provider, reach out to our Client Matching team at care@helloalma.com.
In-Network Insurance Companies
The following insurance companies participate (are in-network) with Alma’s insurance program. Please note that community or state plans, such as NYSHIP, 1199SEIU, or any plans managed by Medicare or Medicaid, are not currently supported by Alma’s insurance partnerships.
