Buddhist Therapy
Buddhist psychology brings into session thousands of years of ancient wisdom from Buddhist philosophy and principles with the combined knowledge of traditional western therapy and neuroscience.
The Buddhist therapist views each person as having their own innate wisdom to change one's life and heal. Anne acts only as a guide to help one rediscover their own awareness of mind, body, heart and spirit. When we have self-agency and trust in our own wisdom, resiliency for our day to day life becomes accessible. The ego naturally takes a back seat, allowing our authentic selves to emerge and connect with others. The small joys in life are noticed and revered as life's challenges are met.
This is an inclusive therapy, though based on Buddhist philosophy and principles, it resonates with individuals from various religious, spiritual and non-religious backgrounds.
