What can counseling help me with this? 

Counseling can help you with finding your true SELF underneath the parts of you that experience anxiousness, depression, anger, trauma, low self-esteem, sabotaging beliefs, dependency, stressful relationships, parenting challenges, feelings of being broken and alone, tense muscles, heavy heart, confusion, questioning the meaning and purpose of all this.  These are only symptoms, not who you are.  The symptom are clues as to what thoughts, behaviors or beliefs are or are not serving you at this time in your life.

I'm curious, why IFS/EMDR/CH?

With IFS/EMDR/CH the therapist does not focus on your diagnosis.  The therapist acts as a guide,helping you to explore your symptoms, discover your own strategies and decide what skills to build.  IFS/EMDR/CH works with your conscious and unconscious mind, allowing for healing on all levels: emotionally, mentally, somatically and spiritually.  When a person reaches a deeper awareness of the root of a problem, they are more likely to move through the healing process of sharing, healing, releasing and integrating.  Reclaim self-agency and rediscover what it is like to be at home within yourself, to find inner peace.
